Fine Art Editorial Wedding Shoot | Watercolor Wedding Invitations
Every bride should be this happy on her wedding day! Seriously, there is so much joy shinning through this shoot, it reminds me why I do what I do.
This shoot, organized by Photographer: Megan Lee, was such a fun one to be a part of. We wanted to play with the fine art elements that we all love, but showcase them in a fresh, playful way through color! If you know me very well, you know that this is my happy place!
I decided on my favorite Italian paper for this suite. The handmade, deckled edges on this beautiful "oversized" paper were a perfect fit for the elegant and upscale side of our aesthetic. To bring in the bolder, editorial side of things, I explored a more modern watercolor style with a bold color choice in the center of my peonies.
Beautiful calligraphy, some envelope art, a crest and a messy "blank" seal bring the style together. What do you think?
Personally, I am in love!
I love the way that draping the veil over this bold bouquet softens the entire look! So delicate and perfect!
This was also my first time playing around with artwork on the invitation envelopes, but it certainly won't be my last! I love that styled collaborations give me the opportunity to explore new ideas.
Huge "thank you" to Megan for organizing this shoot, and a shout out to the other members of the group who made this possible:
