In this drawing and watercolor painting series, we’re going to take on the beautiful watercolor blue jay! This beautiful and regal bird is known throughout the midwest and beyond for their signature wing pattern and their pointed crown‚ very similar to the cardinal’s shape.
We have some in our yard from time to time and I was excited by the challenge when one of my favorite art students requested a full step by step watercolor blue jay painting!
