Oil Pastel Landscape Tutorial - Step by Step Drawing Process
After sharing a recent art supply haul, I was excited to hear that so many of you were eager to explore my new oil pastel landscape set and to pursue a larger scale landscape than those I have finished thus far with the introductory oil pastel set. The first landscape that I tried to tackle was a little too large for an exploration piece, so I started again fresh and really enjoyed myself overall! In this video we’re exploring many of the colors in this set that are new to me, occasionally changing course in order to create a beautiful, finished piece. I love the color-play in this piece and the variety of textures that we were able to achieve and I hope that you’ll enjoy creating this oil pastel landscape with me.
As always, I would love to hear what you think of the tutorial and see how yours turned out. And, of course, requests for “what’s next” are always helpful for me as I plan future videos and tutorials.
