Watercolor Lily Tutorial | Part 2: Adding Realistic Details

Now that we have the foundation of a fun, loose watercolor lily (watch that video here), it’s time to add in those details. I love to have a mix of realism and modern watercolor in my style but I have definitely been leaning more realistic lately and I don’t hate the results! It’s nice to get back to my more realistic roots where I idolized photo realism and would spend hours on the smallest detail until I could hardly see straight! We’re not getting THAT detailed in this video, but I think you’ll enjoy seeing all of these details come together in a realistic, but manageable way.
